Have you ever tried to take something apart only to have it thoroughly stuck together — either from age or from rust? Frustrating isn’t it?

A Fluoramics employee recently needed to remove a wheel from a car that sits outside in all weather conditions. The wheel hadn’t been removed in years Img 6173 E1566681001415and was rusted solid around the wheel axle. None of the usual removal methods worked, not even using a pick axe to try to pry it off.

Frustrated, the employee grabbed an aerosol can of HinderRUST S4.0 and applied HinderRUST through the openings in the wheel and let it soak in overnight. A key property of HinderRUST is that it breaks through rust and spreads beyond the areas to which it is applied. As a result, HinderRUST, a combination rust stopper / lubricant migrated and soaked into surrounding areas.

The next morning, the wheel popped right off.

HinderRUST to the rescue once again.
