HinderRUST Clear Coat for Rusty Metals is solvent-free, non-toxic, and non-flammable. The product dries to a hard protective surface.
This clear coat is easy to apply, VOC compliant, and safe for a wide range of industries and applications.
To apply, remove any flaking or powdery rust with a wire brush or fine sandpaper. Be careful to not remove too much or you will lose the patina you want to keep. To make sure there is a good bond between the surface, and HinderRUST Clear Coat for Rusty Metals, clean off any dirt, dust, grease, or contaminants. Then simply brush or spray HinderRUST Clear Coat for Rusty Metals on desired surfaces when temperatures are above 50 degrees F. Dries to protective hard finish. Cleans up with soap and water.
