Testing:
Tufoil was tested by the United States Government at their federal laboratory (The National Bureau of Standards, now known as NIST) and passed with flying colors. NIST determined that Tufoil has a surface friction so low that it makes Tufoil the most slippery substance known to man.
The Canadian Government ran extreme cold weather tests at their laboratory in Kapuskasing. Their findings show that Tufoil boosted cranking speed in both gas and diesel engines nearly 10% in cold weather starting. Their findings also showed a 5% fuel savings.
The Federal Trade Commission paid close attention to many of our competitors. As a result, they issued warnings to many of them for false advertising claims. Oil Compatibility
Tufoil Engine Treatment is compatible with most conventional / mineral oils and synthetic oils. To test compatibility, mix one ounce of Tufoil Engine Treatment into 10 ounces of your host oil at room temperature. Stir or shake. If you see no separation, settling or clumping, Tufoil is compatible with your oil.
